Early Morning at Fishtail Lodge, Pokhara, Nepal June 2015

Pokhara gets pretty hot and quite humid from the end of may until the start of the rainy season. By 10 am the heat and humidity pass that comfort threshold so early morning sees locals taking their daily exercise - trotting down to the local park where they can be seen doing Marshall arts, jogging and various other pursuits

Today, mid June and the air is still fresh as the sun has yet to rise. An early morning walk to the airport in the hope of spotting some mountains, but as is common this time of year any views are obscured by mist. A stomp back to Lakeside via the Fishtail Lodge Gardens. A place of calm serenity where one can take breakfast for the price of a 2 night stay in downtown. Yes, its high class alright, but they don't mind this ragamuffin tourist trampling the lawn snapping away at the early morning bugs and butterflies.
