Dam-side with Moniss and Big Brother, Pokhara, Nepal 2015

A bus up to Prithivi Chowk which actually stops a few meters into New Road, and thus begins my stomp back to Lakeside via the airport! Times to coincide with lunch,a frequent jaunt to try and keep in shape as the cuisine around here tends to contain plenty of oil. 13p for the bus trip and 56p for lunch - 2 rounds of aloo parata and 2 glasses of Nepali milk tea.

TOP TIP: Often there will be a stack of these potato flat breads, make sure you don't get the top one but insist you have yours from underneath, especially if the flies are helping themselves.

Its the hot season here, but there's always a cool breeze blowing in across the airport and walking beside the runway is quite a pleasant experience despite the relentless amount of road traffic.

A small diversion today - a visit to Big Brother and Moniss who's parents have recently acquired a small shop unit - its Mrs Pandey's sister I am led to believe, bearing in mind Nepali family trees are big and often complicated.

Damside, its the other side to Lakeside where visitors can find a small selection of guesthouses in a quieter location. A populare spot for locals to bath and wash, as well as a dumping ground for garbage it seems judging by the mess.

So, here's a selection of photos as three of usl trundle through parkland towarads the Fewa Dam.

Oh No! Where does this go?
